Financial
assistance is granted to poor and economically disadvantaged
students from the Students' Aid Fund. This is given
annually on application from deserving students subject
to the availability of the Fund.
Student's
Association
The
Nowgong Girls' College Union Society is the General
body of the students of the College. Its membership
is compulsory for every student. The students elect
the office-bearers of the Union annually.
The Society organizes events and activities like games
and sports, debates, cultural programmes and social
service among the students. It also publishes a magazine
annually with a view to developing the creative potentialities
of the students.
