  This particular plan is prepared with due consideration of goal, objectives and strategic approaches of the previous year. For convince of execution, following aspects are incorporated with due autonomy to each of the stake holder for their innovative inputs.  
     
     
  Scholastic approaches:  
  i. Admission to the different programme:  
  Admission to general courses:  
    Admission is given on the basis of merit. The form submitted by the students is sorted out according to the marks obtained in the previous examination and put on the notice board and admission is given accordingly.  
       
  Admission to the major courses:  
    The admission to various Major courses is given by the respective departments. The department is given full autonomy to conduct the admission test and fix criteria to offer Major to its students.  
       
  Admission to the Career oriented programmes:  
    This is a Career Oriented Programme (UGC affiliated) approved by The Gauhati University. The programme has three courses, namely, Certificate course, Diploma Course and Advanced Diploma Course. The admission is open to TDC students. The admission is given on first-come-first-serve basis.  
       
  ii. Department wise plan  
  Class coordinator: From this session the concept of class coordinator is introduced. In each department there will be one class coordinator for each class. He/she is responsible for monitoring the progress of the course.  
  It is proposed to take students’ feed back on the courses, infrastructure and faculty at the end of the session, which will be conducted by the IQAC with coordination of respective departments.

Geography - ADT will be conducted for entry of major students. - Qualifying criteria : - 40% in ADT, - 50% LFE in respective aspects, - Fair marks in English. -Preferred combination for major : -Eco, Pol Sc., Hist., Stats and Math. Discussion of contemporary and relevant issues in classes using audio visual tools. Computer literacy for the Major students of BA 1st year. Planned teaching with US, CDN, ATCT. The methods of monitoring and evaluation are: -QBT, Q, GD, HA, SS and CT. CCI, SGA-for WM, FT, and PT etc will be adopted as the alternative strategy of curricular transaction.
