A student seeking admission to the HS First
year/TDC First year must apply in the prescribed
form enclosed with the prospectus, which is
obtainable in person from the college office.
She must produce the mark sheet and the Certificate
of the Examination last appeared at and her
Caste Certificate in original at the time of
interview. Xeroxed copies of mark sheet, certificate
and other testimonials as specified in the prescribed
application-form must be enclosed with the filled-in
form.
Admission to the College takes place on the
day of interview. For a seat in one of the hostels,
a separate application is to be submitted along
with the application for admission. Admission
to the hostel is obtainable shortly after the
admission.
Admission to the College is given strictly on
merit. There is, of course, reservation for
candidates belonging to SC/ST and other categories
for which reservations are admissible as per
rules.
The candidates selected for admission must get
themselves admitted on the very day of the interview.
Failure to turn up at the interview will forfeit
one's claim for admission. The date of commencement
of the classes for the new session is announced
soon after the admission.
Admission to the Major Subjects: To
test the eligibility of the students in the
subjects they intend to take up as Major subjects,
all the Departments, which conduct Major Courses,
hold both written test and viva-voce.
Admission to the Career-oriented and Self-sponsored
Programmes: Admission to these courses is
given on first-come-first-served basis. The
students willing to go in for these courses
would be required to fill in separate forms
for admission.
